The founder of GreenBank, Danny Wettreich, had over 40 years experience investing in small caps, and started his career doing M&A work for two London, UK merchant banks. Danny tragically and suddenly passed away in September of 2018, leaving a legacy and the strong business model that he built to be replicated by GreenBank.  In the short span of time from June 2012 to September 2018, Danny achieved all of the following:

  • Created 6 CSE listed public companies
  • Established GreenCoinX developers of the worlds first identifiable cryptocurrency
  • Established GreenBank Financial Inc a merchant bank in Toronto, Canada
  • Established Blockchain Evolution Inc., owners of the first eKYC-ID based blockchain
  • Raised over $3,500,000 for his group of companies in private placements
  • Completed 11 spin offs and 5 Plan of Arrangements
  • Acquired 7 mineral properties
  • Acquired equity stakes in 13 companies
  • Arranged 4 reverse mergers on the CSE

Danny Wettreich had more than 40 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and management of publicly traded companies that he drew upon to garner GreenBank's success. At the time of his passing, he was a director and CEO of Sammiri Capital Inc, a Canadian private investment company. He was CEO of Churchill Venture Capital LP, a Dallas-based private equity business, for more than 20 years. At the time of his passing he was alsoy Chairman of Ubique Minerals Limited, Reliable Stock Transfer Inc, XGC Software Inc, Blockchain Evolution Inc, KYC Technology Inc., Inside Bay Street Corporation, Kabaddi Games Inc, and Gander Exploration Inc. . Danny at various points in his life had been a director of public companies listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, NASDAQ, the American Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the Vancouver Stock Exchange, a predecessor to the TSX Venture Exchange.  These public companies have been in diverse businesses in financial services, internet technologies, oil and gas, mining exploration, retailing, telecommunications, media and real estate.   Danny personally facilitated 16 reverse takeover transactions and was a graduate of the University of Westminster with a BA in Business.
